The Ability Group was founded by Andreas Panayiotou in 1996 and soon became established as the largest private build-to-let landlords in the UK. The Ability Group is famously known for selling the portfolio pre the crash in 2008. The company has extensive experience across all asset classes, with deep knowledge of market dynamics, investment strategies, and risk management. This expertise allows the group to build diversified portfolios and offer tailored financial guidance.
Since 2008 Ability has invested in the hotel sector – including the 1st Doubletree by Hilton in the UK; the 1st Hampton by Hilton in the UK; and the 1st new build Waldorf Astoria in the UK.
Hotel brands include Hilton, Doubletree by Hilton, Hampton by Hilton, Radisson, Crowne Plaza, Premier Inn, Travelodge and Club Med.
The Group has organically grown without the need or assistance from outside investors or partners. The key to the success of the Group has been forged on long term relationships allowing the Group to create substantial value across all sectors of the property market.
